What is a duvet cover used for?

A duvet cover is basically a protective layer for your duvet or comforter. It makes it much easier for you to maintain your bedroom hygiene as it is easily removable and washable, meaning you don't have to wash your duvet insert as often. Simply protect your duvet with a duvet cover & toss it in the washing machine once a week along with your bed sheets!
Moreover, with a duvet cover, you can change colours anytime you want to match your sheets!

Should your duvet cover be the same size as your duvet insert?

Your best bet is to buy a duvet cover that is either the exact same size of your duvet insert or up to two inches shorter in both width and length. This allows for a snug fit and gives you amazing fluffiness!

How do I keep a duvet cover in place?

We understand the struggle with your duvet moving out of place as you toss and turn at night - the best way to avoid this is to invest in a duvet cover that comes with ribbon ties in every corner. Secure all sides of your duvet with the ribbon ties of the duvet cover & rest easy without the slipping and sliding!

How often should you wash your duvet cover?

You should be washing your duvet cover once a week & the same rule applies with your bed sheets. Toss your linen sheets in the washing machine and wash in 40 degrees Celcius for a thorough cleanse!

Heveya® Linen Duvet Sheet Set

So thankful to find an OEKO-TEX certified 100% European flax linen bedsheet, which is difficult to find in Singapore. Nowadays, fabrics often have polyester/synthetics (many are plastics which sheds microplastic/toxic substances). 100% linen is good for our health and for the environment, a win-win, and is the correct thing to do. The bedsheet feels slightly rough but gives a great peace of mind, and it smells like the Sun - perhaps because linen is a super breathable natural fabric most suitable for the super humid Singapore (sometimes cotton smells mouldy as it does not dry as quickly). Please make OEKO-TEX certified 100% European flax linen towels and clothes - these products are lacking in Singapore.
