Yes! Our bed bases have many certifications: one of them being from the FSC. Our Slats and frame are also made out of eco-friendly beech wood from Europe.

A slatted bed base encourages optimal ventilation from the surrounding air through your mattress. This promotes a cooling sleep environment as well as an anti-mould sleep system. Slats also help your body contour even more into the mattress, this results in a more rejuvenating slumber.

Why does the Heveya® bed base have adjustable slats?

Each body is unique! Slats are easily adjustable with sliding features that let you customise the support level for your body's core region. Whether your body requires more support or less - simply slide your slats for results you can feel.

What type of mattress is suitable for an Ergonomic Slatted Bed Base?

The type of mattress you intend to use with Heveya®'s Ergonomic Slatted Bed Base matters greatly. Slatted bed bases are meant not only for optimal air ventilation, but also to allow your body to contour even more into your mattress; the result is a more noticeably energising sleep upon waking. We recommend pairing our Slatted Bed Base with a foam type mattress - such as our Organic Natural Latex Mattress for the best results. Unfortunately, spring mattresses are not flexible enough for Heveya®'s Ergonomic Slatted Bed Base.

If I prefer a bed frame not from Heveya® or already have an existing bed frame, can I still purchase the Motorised Bed Base and place it inside a different bed frame?

Yes! Our clients are able to install the Motorised Slatted Bed Base into a bed frame of their choice - on one condition: the chosen bed frame must have sufficient height in order to allow the motor to recline downwards.

If I decide on a King or Queen, should I get two singles or one full piece?

It’s completely up to you! You can choose to get two singles so that each person can control their side independently or opt for one mattress and sync the bed bases to move together.
